દેગમાં Degama, Village India in the 1970s

Scenes from an Adivasi village in Gujerat in March 1977. An amazingly generous and resilient people at a moment in time. Land ownership, or the lack of it, was one of the biggest problems at the time.
In the 2011 census, Degama had a population of 5,350 people and 1,189 households.
