Just wondering where the lake is your at looking for venue ideas that we can drive up and park beside the swim. Any help much appreciated.

You could pop rivet those corners of your tarp to the metal too to save time and energy.

How did you attach the tarp to the van and your box metal thingy, male female bolts, do I just ask for them in diy shops, so an awning channel, with a bit that runs through? Then attach tarp to the bit that runs through ? Doesn’t it slip out ? Thanks for the vid.

How's it attached to the roof, is it leak proof there or does it drip through a bit?
@GINGER_out_and_about2 жыл бұрын
The awning rail is bolted to the roof rack mounts, which is set back about 4" on the roof so no drips or leaks at all

Great job. Just wondering why didn't attach the corners of the Tarp to the aluminium box section? The top of the pole goes through and locates it there anyway, so why not make it easier?

In the uk?? Any link as iv never seen them and would snap them up if actually real
@wingin20072 жыл бұрын
Custom fit to van, parts readily accessible anywhere there is a hardware store, and super easy to do. The ones for that price premade are so thin and flimsy that a good sneeze damages them. If I accidentally tear the tarp, I can pick on up pretty much anywhere, and be back up and running. To me, thats a lot of savings.
