This is quite a lot better then those mainstream homemade speakers. You actually took time to select good-ish components and some really nice midwoofers. A calculated box would be nice but its already way better then others. Congrats!

@@RennieAsh yeah fair that baffle must act as a sort of waveguide, prollie causes some nasty resonance in the 3-7khz range... still, point stands, i've seen some absolutely horrendous builds over the years and this one seems semi-sane :P

It is an old product, not a new one, so its price is not as high as you think, the speaker cone was distorted and had to be adjusted.
