Decided to hit the hardware store and build a kicker to skate on
It was my first time building something with wood

I recommend just getting scrap wood it’s cheaper sometimes get it free and it’s just as good most of the time I built a kicker using scraps for less than $10

Make sure when youre cutting a board dont have both ends laying on something bc when you cut down the middle it can pinch and kick back on you, make sure you have one end out in the air and then cut the excess piece will just fall off thats the right an safe way to do it! But great job man

fuck it, we're back in lockdown and I have plenty of wood and a nice tarmac in front of the house, I'm building my own skatepark starting tonight. I don't have masonite but that's fine straight plywood will work just fine. Thanks for the video. Your shit makes me wanna skate. Sorry about the DIY getting torn out, you're a great guy.

Not many cool tricks will be able to be done off that because theres zero set up time when u get on it after trying to avoid glitching in the steepness of it. I think this would be an awesome kicker if it was just longer and wider and a little less steep so the roll on doesnt effect your pop.

Masonite's not intended for outdoor use. It's pressboard. If you do, just keep it dry.

Do not use circular saws the way this guy does please! If you can attempt to build ramps like this you can build yourself a set of wooden saw horses. Always leave the piece of wood that is getting cut off hanging over the saw horse. that way you don’t cut your hands or legs off like this guy almost did!
