Thank you so much for giving us a comprehensive DIY fibreglass pond work video which I have been looking for years. Good job mate 👌👌

To be honest from all the videos I have watched on fibreglassing, this is the best and I will no doubt watch again before I do mine. I am still in the design and saving phase 😂. Thank you for taking the time to record and post.

SUPERB job Josh, well done mate. Gives me flash backs to doing mine. It was a first for me too, and I actually enjoyed it to be fair. But I did it over days and days, you may have hit it a lot faster than me…. 👏🏼 👏🏼 I went through a power of rollers…. 😂😂😂 All worth it in the end. 👍🏼

Cracking job on the fibreglassing Josh, fair play for having the balls to do it yourself 👌🏼👍🏼
@BrizzleKoi5 ай бұрын
I was terrified about messing it up. Glad I had a go but I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. If you fuk it up and have to buy all the materials again you may aswell have paid a fibreglassing company to do it. Looking forward to your next update mate

Good effort, mate 👏 Acetone would have been good to clean your tools, wipeing the muck,dust, etc, off the flowcoat and for cleaning the wife's nail varnish off. I would if you could put a foot of water in to test the bottom drain. 😅 All the best 👍 👌 🐟
@BrizzleKoi6 ай бұрын
Hi Gary 👋. Messy stuff isn't it...Next time I'll definitely have some acetone! I filled with a foot of water last night and marked the waterline with some tape. I'm waiting on the glass window to arrive so I'll check the tape in a few days 🤞

Question, can you do half of the pond and then the other the next day for example? I have a large pond to fibreglass and don’t think I could do it all in one go?

what have you used on top for fibre-glass black paint.
@BrizzleKoiАй бұрын
@davidgrogan7541 it's called "flow coat" it's basically black fibreglass resin. You have to add catalyst to it before applying. Hope that helps

Top effort , d.i.y fibreglassing, isn't that difficult. It's just common sense , learn how it work as you go along , adjusting catalyst/ batch size you mix up

It's not hard..but I fully understand when it goes wrong...it goes wrong quick! That tissue...ooofff leave that to the professionals!

@GRPLiningServices guess I'm not an average D.I.Y. 🤪, second pond no leaks . I watched you early stuff, before you didn't want to show any more how to videos, but I'm glad you did, as it worked for me 🫡

@@davidthompson6455so it’s now common sense and use the advice from a seasoned professional basically poncing information then claiming it was easy. Jesus man.
