D.I.Y. Satin Cherry-Blossom (Sakura) さくら | MyInDulzens

In this video, I try to make a Cherry-Blossom with Satin Ribbons.
A cherry blossom is the flower of any of several trees of genus Prunus, particularly the Japanese Cherry, Prunus serrulata, which is sometimes called Sakura after the Japanese. Cherry blossom is speculated to be native to the Himalayas - Wikipedia.
The Cherry-Blossom Season varies from one place to another. The season normally starts from January in few places, whereas in other places, the blossom starts from the month of April.

Le sugiero que use un encendedor en lugar de una vela, ya que el encendedor no deja una marca negra como lo hace la vela. Y ten siempre cuidado al jugar con fuego.

Is the ribbon single-sided satin, please? I can only get double-sided satin ribbon and it's very thick to work with for 'burnt' work and kanzashi. Do you have a link you would share, please? Yours look so delicate and pretty.

Hello. Thank you for the tutorial, very beautiful flowers. I bought the satin ribbon I found at the craft store and it says double satin. When I put it on the flame it gets toasted, not very flexible, even if I put it for just a second. It makes it very hard to make the buds because the fabric is not flexible. Can you tell me why this is? :(

nanitaheart ...Thank you so much for your interest in this flower...well,l the satin I used for this flower is a single faced satin ribbon, which is thin in texture and easy to mould.I suggest you to try with single faced ribbon and see if it works...Happy Crafting!!

Is it possible to use wired ribbon for any of your flower projects?

Isabelle Robinson ...I guess it will be not possible but you can pull out the wire from the ribbon, make it a regular one and try any of my flowers. Btw I have one wired ribbon flower tutorial..Hope u have checked that....Happy Crafting!!
