D.I.Y Skate Rail. How to make it.

I show you how to make a skate rail.
Guys make the extend shorter on both ends otherwise the rail might as you ride off it ( I have had to cut off quite a bit!. For more stability use a heavier piece of steel for base as I did.

What sort of steel are you using?

Nothing special, just general purpose steel.

What is the exact size of the steel tube cause it’s kinda confusing as idk anything about pipes and sizes

Hi, the diameter of the pipe is 2 inch (50 mm). The lenght is up to you!

The legs are made from square steel bar. The size is approx. 1 inch X 2 inch (25mm X 50mm). The feet are made of sheet metal. Thickness is approx 0.1 inch (3mm) and it is 2 inch (50mm) wide. I would recommend to use these or anything stronger.

Did you powder coat it or did you use regular spray paint

I just used regular paint. However on the top of the rail it came off very fast.

I have used scrap metal... but it would have cost about 37 € if i buy all new.
