I own a mk4 2001 entered the menu and instead of using hot and cold to switch I used up fan and down fan but as soon as I realized I turned the ignition off do I need to reset my ac or what?

Why do you observe something's wrong? I don't think so. This is only reading procedure not setting for the climate.

On some other vehicles of the brand the combination is different but that is all.

Hi and sorry for the late answer. In which channel do you refer?

If you refering to channel 45 i have 2 answers. The first is that thiw channel refers to AC motor temperature and when the AC is off it is not connected and there is a high possibility of several models of VAG group to have some differences in the channel list. In this sityation some are also de-activated. For example on AUDI 8P the channel 45 is to read internal temperature digitaly corrected.

Yoy must check the fuses for the blower and then the blower. I supose the blower is more possible to seizes.

Hola. Me funciona perfecto el aire frio,pero no funciona la calefaccion. Sopla pero no calienta. Me da error 30b y 25b. Me puede ayudar de posible fallo

The error codes are for Temperature Sensor for External Temperature at Fender (30B) and Positioning Motor for Foot/Defrost Flap (25B). I believe that you have to change or check the wiring for the external temperature sensor and then you must check the position motors inside the dashboard.
