Hi, On your climatronic unit at 0:57 under normal operation you have a temperature to the left, is that cabin temperature, outside temperature..? Mine doesn't show up that temperature..its a polo, could it be a feature only for like passats or something? Trying to find a reason to why my ac only works on engine idle, new belt, cluch engages, charged refrigerant on an auto shop, no climatronic errors, no flap errors no sensor errors..all car fuses ok, kinda lost Thanks for the vid

first of all thank you for your comment. The left temperature is the outside temperature and to the right is the setting temperature. I dont know if your unit is the same (i suppose that it is). If you have not had any AC service done recently, then it's likely low refrigerant. If you've recently had work done on the AC, then it could also be too much refrigerant. If the pressure is getting too high at highway speeds, this could trigger the cut-off switch. Either way, you'll want to check your current pressure.

@@D.K.Automotive Thanks for the input, i got it filled in an autoshop but like i said i'm only getting cold air at idle, warm air when moving. I'll be ordering an AC kit with vaccum pump and gauges to remove the gas and fill it myself, i'll be also checking the clutch clearence if its within spec.

Hi. sorry for the delayed answer. What do you mean exactly when you say "clutch keeps burning"? The system is pretty simple. If we have the correct amound of freon and the compressor is working well then all the other reasons for intermission working is applying on secondary parts such as electric valves, changing hot to cold valves, fan etc.

I own a mk4 2001 entered the menu and instead of using hot and cold to switch I used up fan and down fan but as soon as I realized I turned the ignition off do I need to reset my ac or what?

Why do you observe something's wrong? I don't think so. This is only reading procedure not setting for the climate.

On some other vehicles of the brand the combination is different but that is all.

Yoy must check the fuses for the blower and then the blower. I supose the blower is more possible to seizes.

The error codes are for Temperature Sensor for External Temperature at Fender (30B) and Positioning Motor for Foot/Defrost Flap (25B). I believe that you have to change or check the wiring for the external temperature sensor and then you must check the position motors inside the dashboard. If you refering to channel 45 i have 2 answers. The first is that thiw channel refers to AC motor temperature and when the AC is off it is not connected and there is a high possibility of several models of VAG group to have some differences in the channel list. In this sityation some are also de-activated. For example on AUDI 8P the channel 45 is to read internal temperature digitaly corrected.

@@antoniogutierrez5249that’s the real temperature of the engine (i mean coolant) even if the cluster shows 90ºC, in the channel 45 u can see it raising up or going down, i have a passat b5 1.9 PD115 and whem the cluster hits 90ºC, in channel 45 shows 75ºC and raising, for example in freeway where u hit 120-140 kms per hour its normal at channel 45 see 90-100 ºC going up and down ( if your thermostat is in good condition! Does ur car at the first start or after that stars good or takes a bit ?

@@bernardoamaroo It always does it, even before starting it reads -99 C. I don't know if there is any way to reset it or any other way to fix it if something happens to it.

Yes the 30b= 030B Outside Temperature Sensor - Front Bumper and the other code is 0318 Air Conditioner Pressure Switch. So i am supposing that your clima does not working or not?
