[Irresistable] Describing 4 forces that can manipulate(motivate) other people There are 4 types of motivations we have, according to a research. 1. Prominence : Basically the wish to be treated differently from others, to be treated special. This applies to getting a great position at work, or be admired as an attractive person. 2. Inclusiveness: The wish to have group of friendly people that you feel that you belong and accepted. This applies to getting friends, doing service and being thanked for doing them. 3. Prevention: The wish to avoid negative things. This applies to wishing to avoid illnesses, injuries, troubles of all kinds. 4. Tradition: Basically the wish to maintain something we belong, possibly something we really like or feel proud of. For example a product, culture and companies. We can use this theory to motivate other people and ourselves and also understand which ones are we influenced by, and how strong are we influenced by each of them.
