DFCCIL Is committed for targeted commissioning of the section and till date 500 km stretch are being used by running trains and by March 2020 it will increase to 992 km. timelines of commissioning of the different sections are following:
In this financial year 2020-21 40% i.e. 1100 route Km. will be operationalised.
1. Khurja-Bhaupur - 359 KM.
2. Palanpur-Rewari - 641 Km.
3. Ganjkhawja-Chiralapathu - 100 Km.
Remaining all 1700 route Km. i.e. 60% will be completed by June 2022 .

It's because of BJP. They have instructed not to market too much otherwise these libbys and libbas will organize protest everywhere stopping the progress and land acquisition etc. There are lot of projects like express ways, bridges, 447 dams are being constructed, drop irrigation projects in south india, etc are kept hidden as they are large projects require a lot of land for the infra. My advice is Change all old rail tracks all over india (although it's expensive and time consuming) Adopt chinese method on placing rail tracks... China placed same type of fast rail tracks everywhere in their country that saved their R&D budget...
