Lynchings in America is worse than most know. Some of them were planned in newspapers! Even the names of the killers were written along with the date and time. Children also attended the murders with food and drink. And not all lynchings are the same. Some included being burned alive among other methods. ISIS would be very jealous. Sometimes the killers would actually go to the jail and just take the prisoner out of his or her cell. After the deadly spiritual due process must take its course. The killers go to court and after 2 or 3 minutes of "deliberations" an all white jury dismisses the all white killers. Sound familiar?

I remember the brown eyes vs blue eyes experiment in a grade school. As long as one of them felt on top emotionally, they felt completely at ease to persecute those who were not on top. Even when the tables turned and the "on top" children were no longer on top, they also felt completely at ease to persecute those who had once persecuted them. The emotional perception has to flip in order for things to change, but it never really changes, it just moves to a different side. There are no winners in this. . . none. Where I live, Native Americans are treated just as badly as black people in the South. I guess the real truth is to "follow the money" because the richest group as a whole is the only one on top. Change the money, you change where the hate is.

My uncle was a white cop. Working for the Lorain County Sheriff’s department. He was sent to help a disturbed man who called in complaining of snakes in his stomach. When my uncle arrived to help, he was shot and killed by a mentally disturbed black man. John Palermo was a good and decent man. Very few of us remember him. I agree with DL. No doubt about it.
