The problem nowadays with the advent of the internet and social media is that everyone is rapper now. The genre is so oversaturated that any authenticity that it might have enjoyed in the beginning has been dissolved. Everyone and their grandma is a rapper now. Literally. Hence why nowadays, the genre has become inundated with so much repetitive and recycled material, it doesn't hold the weight that it once did. Even though the participants are making a lot more money now than when the genre was authentic. Go figure.

That and people that look at hip hop as a "get rich quick" tool. You can tell who doesn't really emcee because you can hear the lack of time, creativity, originality in their rhyme. Copy and paste until you recieve is most peoples style.

the industry record company execs also push what is hot today if its mumble they will tell you to make that kindof music for sales because the youth didnt grow up with 80s rap they wanna hear that watered down disco trap

No
@Eslick7085 күн бұрын
@@bobbyfoto3473you may be right but Doug appeared in “Beat Street” in 1984 beat boxing a year before I heard Buff (The Human BeatBox) in “The Fat Boys are Back” and a year before “Krush Groove” the movie
@RenR705 күн бұрын
@@Eslick708 Actually “Human Beat Box” by the Fat Boys came out in ‘84 also. Buff was definitely the first on a record but who was actually earlier is debatable.
