Famed comedian DL Hughley talks about his experience during a radio interview with Bill Cosby. DL was already not a fan of Cosby due to Cosby's condemnation of black comedians using the N-word. According to DL, Bill went so far as to trying to stop the careers of Dave Chappelle, Martin Lawrence and Chris Tucker. DL Hughley also claimed to that he had known about Cosby's alleged rapes for many years.
During the radio interview, DL tried to stay out of the conversation but was called out by Bill for using the N-word in his act. DL responded that he may use that word, but no young girls have ever accused him of drugging and raping them. DL feels that it's hypocritical that Cosby's comedy was clean, but his life wasn't.
At the end of the segment, DL did acknowledge the importance of Bill Cosby's positive contribution to the racial climate of today. DL even said that there would not have been a black President if The Cosby Show never existed.

In 2005 Cosby admitted in court testimony in his own words that he gave a woman 3 Benadryl pills so he could have sex with her and that he had 7 prescriptions for quaaludes that he gave to people. He admitted to drugging women specifically in order to have sex with them. People can have whatever agendas they have but it doesn't change the fact that he is a serial rapist. Other celebrities are too, of all races, and they should be brought down too.

Wow! Frederick Guerin I sure HATE that you had such an ugly encounter wit' Mr. PILL Cosby!! Well for tha' rude way that he treated YOU and SSOOO many others, he's Finally Getting his payback and what he truly deserves. His karma started when his son Ennis was murdered on that Calif highway. Lord Rest Ennis' Soul. He left here wit' the SINS OF HIS FATHER. It was horrible that he was murdered, it should have been his rapist daddy that left here instead. That's the way of the world it seems. The bad people keep living and the good seems to die.

I appreciate him telling the truth about Bill Cosby and calling his behind out now and even before all the allegations became public. I was very disappointed in all the black male comedians defending Bill Cosby's nasty, hypocritical behind. I'm glad he's not doing the same thing. That comment about doing clean comedy but not living a cleaan life was on point too.

Agree completely. I got triggered by stumbling across Eddie Griffin's take on Cosby so I just searched "Vladtv Cosby" and right at the very top were 3 dudes defending him and even some of the ones who didn't try to say he was innocent were still kinda in his corner basically saying "it's a shame that we lost a great and it makes ME feel bad" without really acknowledging or standing by the women he did this to.

I'm a white woman (who happens to be friends with the woman you're laughing at) so help me understand. So...black people like to mock and shame their own...for wearing their hair natural? She looks masculine it has nothing to do with her hair. The hair is absolutely the last thing that is an issue on that woman. She has a hard jaw line and looks like a transvestite. No disrespect to her but she's not attractive at all. And being a white woman has nothing to do with it. Race has nothing to do with it. If you're ugly you're ugly period. So I don't get why you're bringing race into it, that's irrelevant.

For me that show definitely left a uniquely positive impression of black families and hope for a colorful future for America. The thing I love about Cosby is her cared about the advancement of his people as a whole and knew how damaging public actions can be. Not perfect but at least, let the people see hope. If he's guilty, it's a sad thing but I totally respect him for caring about images... because on a mass scale, that's what shapes us. A celebrity can go 60 years and no one know what their private life is like but still become great bc of the body of work they witnessed. So Thank you Cosby for your contribution and attempts at helping others do the same...

@Jim Knight I see your point of view and see where Cosby comes from , yet when people take and preach from a moral high ground they often have glass houses. You are policing people's artistic expression and the personal experiences for a higher moral ground. Yet, he's at least doing drugs with White groupies, while being married. In many ways, that's common amongst celebrities and people in general, but if you lecture someone about their artwork and how they make a living. That's ridiculous from a moral stance.
