Glad you liked it, I bought it in the UAE from noon.com, it is currently on Amazon UAE for about 125 AED which is probably the lowest its been in a while. Where are you from? perhaps i can help you find a good deal. Thanks!

Hi, Thanks for watching. I too wanted this to work as I primarily use it via USB connected to my laptop. Unfortunately whether you connect to USB port or to Power adaptor, it does not turn on without the battery installed, wish they had added support for this. Hope this helps.

Hi, Thanks for watching. You can use this router via the USB cable without WiFi. To do that if you watch my video from 6:30 you will see in file explorer there is a emulated CD Drive with D Link software, you just need to run that and it will install the necessary drivers and you should then be able to connect. Hi, Thanks for watching. My primary use has been with wired connection so I can't comment much for WiFi except initial tests which were seemed ok, but I haven't had any issues so far and used it for many hours per day. Hope that helps.

Hi, Thanks for watching. Basically it should just show up once the card is inserted, if you do not insert a card it will show up greyed out with a drive letter once you connect it via the micro usb cable to your computer. If you insert a card it should show up when connected to your computer, let us know how you get on maybe try to format the card in fat32 or exFat to see if that helps.

Hi Thanks for watching, I believe it shouldn't matter though to prolong the life of your device and the battery it might be better to turn it off when not in use for long periods. I have it connected to my laptop for about 8 hours a day continuously but after that most days I don't use it again till the next day. Hope that helps.

Hi, Thanks for watching. I really don't know how long it takes to charge as I use it daily with the wire so its always charged up. I doubt it would take too long considering the size of the battery but could be up to 2 hours depending on how fast it chargers. Also tried to search for the info but couldn't find anything conclusive. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If you do manage to find out please do let us know, might help others too, thanks.

Hi, Thanks for watching. Have you tried with USB and Wifi? Have you tried logging in to the Web interface for the device and checking the internet connection? I would recommend trying to switch it manually switching it to 3g or 4g and see if there is any change. Have you tried on a phone and a PC? Try to connect via Wifi to the pc then check the IP address you are given for the wifi connection just to make sure the DHCP is working from the router. Hope this helps, let us know if you are able to get it working.

Hi, Thanks for watching. I'm not sure if you are referring to battery life or data usage, so I will answer for both. Battery: The power indicator doubles as charge status light, below are the colour codes from the manual: Green: Power-on in progress. Blue: Fully charged or normal operation with battery about 60%. Blinking Amber: Charging. Solid Amber: Battery between 60% and 15%. Blinking Red: Battery less than 15% Data Usage: So this is a difficult and there are couple of measures you can take to estimate your data usage. 1. If you internet provide has a web portal to check current usage stats, or an account page where you can see your usage, this will be the best way to monitor how much data you have remaining. I use this method with a simple url from my provider which shows me current balance without the need to log in, it just identifies the mobile number assigned to my account. I guess the main thing we need to remember is the device really doesn't have any information about out data plans so referring to current accounts stats is the most accurate method. 2. The Web interface for the device has a usage total which you can reference to get an idea of data usage. I believe the usage data is based on the current session so could be difficult to monitor over the month of your allowance. Hope that helps.

@@Aizurre Fair enough, that really will be very difficult to find out. The only thing you can do is possibly find out the provider by taking out the sim card and then if at all possible try to find the details for that account, I highly doubt there will be any other way. Sorry I couldn't be of more help on this one. Hope you can find out somehow.
