D low won because he countered Colaps multiple times and in his routines he used stuff that colaps usually uses and colaps is known for them. D low also had more impactful rounds, colaps did not have clear and loud sounds like d low. And d low structure was also better.

A 5-0 battle is sometimes Closer than a 3-2 because the judges have to give notes, for this battle it was top notch that maybe the final score was by just a single point in every judges notes. I prefered colaps more too but I think D low toook it by a little extra point of musicality. It could have gone each ways , they have both performed one of the best battles ever

Tbh, I am one of the select few who thought Colaps was "better". However, I was biased because I was just more into Colaps' style more in general. I think D-low's sounds hit more and his choice of beats resonated better with the crowd which is what gave him the W

I agree with you. I would have voted for Colaps as well. D-Low is amazing with his sounds but Colaps has a technical power that is unmatched when you pay close attention to the detail. Colaps makes sounds that other beatboxers can do but none can do it as well and precise as him.
