D low and napom are some of the most "in your face" beat boxers, often going at their opponent in one way or another, it sorta creates an illusion that they just don't like any of their opponents while battling haha

I remember some of the first beatboxing I ever saw was Skiller in 2011 and 2012 and I strongly disliked him because of how he treated opponents. That was before I learnt that beatbox is a family closer than any other and its all about passion for beats!

10:16 the reason for this is mainly that beatbox is highly competitive and throughout these rounds, beatboxers try to make the most complex/technically challenging routines, while also making something genuinely enjoyable to listen to. In the current beatbox climate skill is put on a higher pedestal than "musicality". If a beatboxer were to do what you said here it might result in a better song/more memorable listening experience, but that's just not what beatboxers are encouraged to do during battles. Basically, the answer is that they COULD do this in a battle but it would make it way less likely for them to win.

they can't do the same thing or it counts as repeating the routine, therefore they gotta do different tracks and put some technique in there also try counter the other beatboxer for points, so when you see someone put up 2 fingers it means he's done this before

The crazy low part that D low used is called Inward Bass. It's kinda painful to learn and can still be very irritating years after mastery. D low prob could do two routines of inward in a row but his voice would most likely be destroyed. Routines for battles are arranged to get as much technique and "flex" as possible and still maintain musical feel. Shoutouts on the other hand may tickle your musical fancy a little bit more. I believe the "metallic sound" question for the first part of D-Low's first round is likely his zipper. He adjusts it so the sound comes more through his teeth. Gives it more buzz.

I can imagine people saying Colaps. But sometimes he makes little mistakes with breathing and sounds that are not extremely smooth. D-Low has more variety. And his comeback with the clicks right after Colaps round was way powerfull and better
