You are very fortunate and blessed with a boss is more than reasonable. He is very graceful & magnanimous. He is your benefactor. Be thankful that God has provided you such a great boss.
Lol.. as long as you don’t keep Malaysia ringgit, change your money to Singapore dollar or USD, I’m sure in time your USD and Singapore dollar will further strengthen against RM… I’m very sure!
Many people think working in singapore is good, in 90% of the cases, it is not especially if you compare with KL. Professionals in KL can earn double of equivalent in Singapore without conversion. For example, in KL, you earn RM10,000 but, in SG, you earn about $6,000 maybe even less. $6,000 is nothing in SG especially with the high rental but RM10,000 in KL, you can buy house, car and start to build your family.
India produces a lot of computer software engineers to America. They will have the first cut if work from home is possible. Employ Foreign workers. Company has to pay taxes and levied which govt use this policy to protect local workers so not cheap. Working in sg will save on transportation besides meals although rental is going higher bcos of demands. Why high in demand? You know the answer. People know how to calculate and those who benefitted from this are those who move fast and willing to work hard.
Warren Buffet already forgo investing in US bonds & shares. USD is being de-dollarised. US grossly over printed money in attempt to service its debt. So better consider other investments.

Work at home is not that simple what you think. As current residential tax regulation, you cannot work for sg compnany, and stay in malaysia, and yoy tax will be under mslaysia malaysia residential tax. This eventually will lead to your sg company unable continue your job. A bit complecated, not as simple what you think.
