No modern FEI dressage horse looks this through, supple, and relaxed. The works of the masters are all out there for the learning-- Alois Podhajsky, the Duke of Newcastle, Paul Belasik, etc. Why are modern riders thinking that they fell out of a coconut tree? ;-) It's hard enough without having to reinvent the wheel.

On ne voit plus une équitation fine, respectueuse du cheval, de cette qualité dans les arènes de compétition. Au moment où les Jeux olympiques sont devenus un jeu lucratif pour les professionnels, l’art de l’équitation, comme tant de personnes l’avaient prédit, était voué à l’échec. Malheureusement pour tant de chevaux, les prédictions se sont réalisées.
