I was singing along to the album version while driving a while back. By the time the song ended with "you say it doesn't matter" I was crying along with Vessel (which you hear in the end of the album version). I'm a 31-year-old male, not much makes me weep, but that song had me sobbing.

I would strongly recommend listening to the albums in the order they were curated for us, you can follow the story and the development of Vessels lyrics and the band’s development of sound more clearly that way. I honestly believe this is much an art project as it is music and it can be traced better through the development of the albums

What’s amazing is this song can still spark, intense emotion and me as well after the 50th listen. They really are a special band. The music is so varied but if you want to hear another song that sparks a lot of emotion in me from Sleep Token, that is absolutely gorgeous I recommend the song Drag Me Under. There is no better song at encapsulating the feeling of just being in awe of the person laying next to you.

Also from The Room Below sessions, the cover of I Wanna Dance With Somebody……… it’s exquisite. I hated that song. And Vessel turned it into something very special. It helped me, along with so many other ST songs, get through some very dark times. Once you’re through with lots of Sleep Token, then you tackle Euclid. It’s the closure we all needed. And it’s beautiful. Can’t wait to see them in Sydney in a few weeks. Flying in to see them twice over a couple of days ❤

Something that’s special about this rendition of the song is it’s very akin to how he plays live shows; not just because of the emotion, but because he actually weeps during these songs because they are his life. He’s lived every note, every pressed key, every strummed string.

It's hard to recommend what to check out next from Sleep Token, it's all fantastic. Ascensionism, Are you Really Ok, The Apparition, and DYWTYLM are all back-to-back-to-back on their newest album and I rarely have a dry eye when I listen to them. The last three songs also fit that category but I think those more so. ALSO, ABSOLUTELY don't listen to Euclid yet. It's the last song on their newest album and it wraps up a "trilogy" of albums. It will legitimately be SO MUCH better if you listen to their first album (Sundowning), second album (This Place Will Become Your Tomb), and third album (Take Me Back To Eden) before finishing it all with Euclid. Like on a human level, I would love to see you complete that journey and see how Euclid beautify ends it. I'm excited for both of you!!

Man, i was fine until you pulled out the tissue 😂....I can listen to this on repeat and just bask in the beauty of the song, but every now and then depending on my mood, it gut punches me. This song is just so emotional. All of their songs are emotionally stimulating. I read someone wrote to do the discography in order to follow their evolution in sound; while i do support that, others want to have you listen to this or that song. If you knew what was meant by "I am your favorite regret, you are my favorite weapon of choosing" really meant then you would not be crying. This song is a story of a Goddess (Sleep) and Vessel (they share the same body) and in their EP titled Two you get a horrifying story. Here goes. Sleep invades a guy who becomes Vessel. The first thing Sleep does is tell Vessel to kill his girlfriend who happens to be sleeping next to Vessel. Vessel picks up a pistol and kills her to prove his loyalty to Sleep. I am your favorite regret; you are my weapon of choosing. The dynamic between Sleep and Vessel is a HIGHLY TOXIC relationship. The song I am referring to is named Nazereth.
