I’ll never forget going to their shows back in the day. This band, along with Animals as Leaders, absolutely changed progressive metal.

In all my years, I don’t think I’ve ever known any one else to acknowledge The Human Abstract’s existence. Their EP cover of Moonlight Sonata is chef’s kiss.

I'm so glad you reacted to this band! They have been one of my favorites for years. When I talk about them to people who don't know their music I describe it as what would happen if you took classical musicians from an orchestra, Matt Bellamy from Muse, and metal core as a genre and put it in a blender to make a smoothie.

Wow! I would never expect to see this on the channel. Whoever suggested this just wants you to hear some amazing underground early 2000s metal. This album is still one of my favorites and I am always sad they never made more music after this album. If you are going down this route at ALL, you should definitely check out some Between The Buried And Me. I would say something like Selkies: The Endless Obsession.

hell yes. This was on my iPod playlists way back then. And I agree with the BTBAM recommendation too. Selkies for me has one of the best if not guitar solos in all of metal.

Fun fact the guitarist AJ Minette has he’s masters in classical music from UCLA and does all the piano and classical arrangements. Also Billy Talent Rocks!! 🤘🏼

If yall want to react to some straight up instrumental songs yall should definitely check out some songs from Rodrigo y Gabriela. They are a Mexican acoustic guitar duo. No lyrics whatsoever. The guitars do all the singing. They are awesome!!!! Check out either "Tamacun" or "Hanuman". Preferably a live version so you can actually see what they do with there guitars. There videos have millions of views so I'm sure you can find a good one.

I am new to your channel. I don't know if you have addressed this somewhere but what do you guys normally listen to for music?
@dna20016 ай бұрын
Hi there! 👋 Andrea listens to a lot of different music (including a lot of heavier music). I listen to mostly country music and Christian music (also a little pop and other stuff). Glad you are here! -Dallas
