Great stuff as usual man! I like how this Hyde used a lot of anti airs. It looked like he was reading his opponents like a book along with having excellent reflexes to turn the tide of the fight or keep up the pressure

Thank you! Yeah his anti-air OS is absolutely on point. I really like how he buffers jump cancel afterwards, I know a lot of people typically rebeat their anti-air into 2A to make the conversion easier, but he goes right into the full combo.

Yeah, his dash C can be cancelled out of with black orbiter, shadow scare or any super.

It strange seeing so many people seem surprised by how good Hyde is. Hyde does chip damage on normals and have multiple playstyle, of course he lethal

Seeing as how little he's played in the west, I'm not surprised.

To be fair, his animations and his attacks don't really give credit to how freeflow and balanced he truly is until you dig deeper, Hyde players live and die off how well they utilize his projectiles and the few mix up options he has, especially Shadow Scare, I had no idea how GOD TIER that move was till way after I picked him up, both in neutral and combos, plus Hyde takes serious effort to win with consistently, since unlike most of the roster, he doesn't really have a move you can just crutch on till you get better. And much like Hyde in the story, you really have to give everything your all to succeed. But if you can, you get rewarded with one of the best damage output's in the game, along with strong neutral. Plus chip is nice I guess. (Honestly I think its kind of a blown up gimmick that doesn't make much of a difference)

Antanov-SSS Hyde is not that in depth at all. It just takes a bit of practice to understand these things. Eventually you'll figure out Hyde shouldn't be having a lot of the things he has

I think Satomaru still shows up on stream at CSS from time to time but yeah not as much as he used to :( It's a pleasure to make these videos though, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
