i am just in awe...... i've only just played this game the first time today, and before I even saw this vid i was drawn to yuzu... but I never imagined she could be this crazy....im starting to think this level of play is just beyond me.

Tech for me later and anyone else: 00:28 sick new hotness combo. 00:38 cool double normal air trick with air assault. 01:54 amazing point blank frame trap. 05:08 can react to super after grim reaper if gorg attempts. 07:18 need to test if 236B, 412B, stance C actual frame trap or just confusing the opponent since they block to much. 12:36 nasty byakuya left right mix up...but kure blocks it! hes seen it before maybe... 14:50 can 236B through nanase project...nice to know. 15:13 insane mind game making your opponent believe you're open and 236A for punish There was another block string involving stance that i wanted to notate but I guess i'll find it later. Yuzu is one strange character. One one hand, she looks so smooth you can't believe it's not butter. On the other, she's a technical monster with buttons that will give you hand cramps from just practice. But I REALLY wanna learn her, so here I am, studying great gameplay in a well appreciated vid. I learned Hyde from watching these. I'll learn Yuzu one way or another. Also, FIRST.

An update, 1 year later. I truly thought that learning all of her optimal strings was going to be the hardest part, seeing as how I had to re-arrange my button layout to make stance-cancelling easier. But it's confirming off stray hits mid-fight, opening people up, keeping track which slashes I've used, making sure not to drop 66B or 66C, making sure to link 66C after c.j2C, remembering to invert my inputs when I'm on the opposite side, etc. Through all that, though, I kept at it. I think I'm pretty decent at this point (anyone with more game sense would wipe the floor with me). So, I'm actually maining Yuzu, with Byakuya as me second. It's a tad hard to find anyone willing to spar, and the online netcode is tolerable at best (a PowerPoint shitshow and it's worst). If anyone ever wants to run matches with a somewhat decent Yuzu, I'm on Ps4 @Kushino57. Always down for a few games.

By whiffing rising j.B as soon as possible off of the ground, you'll recover from the move's animation before landing, so that's why he was still able to assault afterwards.

7:14 Im new to yuzuriha so im confused how he's special canceling out of her "FF" command. I tried warping out of the endlag but it isn't happening.

Comboer you can do her stance dash with 66 or 44 out of FF. Also, if you do FF then hold either B or C (not both), you'll 'cancel' the FF (there will be a notable animation, and you can do other stance moves like slashes afterwards).

Yes it's 44. Yuzuriha's FF can be cancelled into only 66 or 44 on hit/block (CS also of course).
