Kroatien wird zum zweiten Mal Handball-Weltmeister. Wenn ich aber schreibe, Dänemark wird erneut Weltmeister, dann ist es wie erwartet und ziemlich langweilig. Das Spiel wird spannend, dramatisch und knapp ausgehen nach hartem Kampf. Man muss optimistisch bleiben. Irgendwann reißt jede Siegesserie. Es wird langsam Zeit, dass die Dänen wieder ein WM-Finale verlieren. Idemo HRVATSKA! 🇭🇷🥇🏆🏆💪👍❤🤍💙

Ich verfolge seit 40 Jahren das Handballgeschehen, aber eine solche Dominanz habe ich noch nie erlebt. Weder bei Russland und Schweden in den 80/90ern, noch bei Frankreich in den 2000ern. Hier spielte der alte und neue Weltmeister.

Handball ist viel geiler - Tempo, Spielwitz, tolle Typen - nicht solche Fußballer-Millionäre, die sich mühsam über den Platz schleppen und offenbar überlegen, was sie mit dem vielen Geld machen, das sie bekommen - von verdienen kann oft keine Rede sein.

Croatia can play free at the same time the most people expect that Denmark is winning, so it’s much easier to be Croatia because no matter what the outcome is everyone will still say that they did fantastic in this tournament on the other hand many would say that Denmark failed to “only” become number two. That’s one of the difficulties of being named as favourites. This game will be a fifty fifty game. May the best team win ❤🇩🇰❤🇭🇷❤

temos que ganhar à França, temos que trazer o bronze. Convenhamos que Dinamarca é um caso diferente, está um patamar acima de todos os outros. A croácia também parece fortíssima, cilindrou a França. Mas, o extraordinário é isto: Portugal, em pouco tempo mas de uma forma organizada já está no patamar de Espanha e Alemanha, que são duas potências na modalidade. Portanto, o mais importante, neste desporto estamos na elite, dentro do grupo dos melhores do mundo e como a selecção é jovem tem mais europeus e mundiais. Mas para já era excelente ganhar a medalha e é perfeitamente possível.

I think Denmark will most likely find a period in the second half where they take 3-4 goals in a row, often that means the opponent is finished. Croatia did get 1 day extra to recover so maybe that gives a few %. This Denmark side is very experienced being in finals, and winning them, but I will never say Croatia doesnt have a chance, 1 half might be tight, as it often is in semi and finals

Da kann bzw sollte sich Deutschland unbedingt mal was anschauen, das immer weiter so funktioniert offenbar nicht!Tempo Gegenstoß, mehr über die Außen, schnelle Kombination und mutig in die Tiefe alles Sachen die man von Deutschland kaum gesehen hat

Das ist sehr leicht geschrieben, da brauchst du auch von der Abwehr zum Torwart zum Kreisläufer zu den Spielern ein brutales Niveau. Das ist eben bei Dänemark nicht vergleichbar mit den restlichen Nationen. Gidsel ist der beste Spieler der Welt das kann man nicht einfach so nachmachen.

Deutschland hat gefühlt im gesamten Turnier nur 3 TG-Tore gemacht. Das ist wirklich ein Problem. Gerade wenn die Torhüter so viel halten und man danach einfach kein Kapital aus diesem Vorteil schlagen kann.

The Danish goalkeeper actually had a slightly worse than average performance in this match compared to his tournament save percentage.

Goalkeepers are the most important position in modern handball. Place Nielsen or Wolff in an average team, and that team will look a lot better than it actually is. Portugal and France need to find top goalkeepers, at this level you can't have less than ten saves per game...come on.

Emil has, I think, gone past Wolf, this past 12 months. But yes if you got a top goalkeeper and a strong defence, you got a chance of beating everyone. Sweden always give Denmark a hard fight with their tough defence and Palicka, on his day, is an amazing goalkeeper. But Portugal also need a couple more top players, then they wont fall apart later in the game against Denmark, like they did yesterday. Just very exciting to see them be able to keep 30 minutes against Denmark with fantastic attacks

Bei dem Spiel sah man den Unterschied zu Deutschland. Dänemark spielt mit Selbstvertrauen und großem Können, Portugal hatte keine Chance. Deutschland hatte den Mund wieder wie üblich sehr voll genommen, wollten Weltmeister werden mit einer eher mittelmäßigen Mannschaft. Aber da ihnen jeder eingeredet hat, wie toll sie waren - obwohl die vorherigen Spiele bei der WM eher wenig berauschend waren, ausser wenn es gegen ganz schwache Gegner ging - dachten sie wohl selbst, sie wären die potentiellen Weltmeister. Hochmut kommt vor dem Fall. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Dänemark. Sie wären der würdige Weltmeister.

Denmark often has a hard time vs Croatia. In the record unbeaten series for Denmark at Worlds since 2017 there is a draw vs Croatia. And at Olynpics 2016 in Rio Denmark LOST to Croatia, but won the gold anyway.

Als wir damals in den 80ern in ex-Jugoslawien die Handballregel praktiziert haben, hat es geheißen, wie im Fußball - ein Tor fällt, alle Spieler müssen in eigenen Hälften bei Wiederanpfiff sein. Entweder war das Irrtum oder die Regeln haben sich inzwischen geändert.

@JB-tq4qe ja aber bisher auch noch kein einzigen guten Gegner wie Ägypten, Frankreich, Kroatien Ungarn gehabt. Ich mein schau dir ihre gegner an. Deutschland spielt wahrscheinlich das schlechteste Turnier seit ewigkeiten und wirft trotzdem fast Portugal raus. Und gegen solche Nationen spielt dann Dänemark. Mal abwarten was jetzt im Finale passiert. Man hat ja schon vor ein paar Monaten gesehen was passiert ist als dann mit Frankreich große Nationen kamen

For a country with only 6 mio population Denmark has "results" in a quite wide range of sports. Denmark is after almost all Olympics in the top ten of nations with the most medals compared to populationsize. Alongside countries such as New Zealand, Hungary and Jamaica to name a few. To add a sport not mentioned in other comments here CYCLING comes to mind!

Egypt would put up a fight aganst denmark, not to mention france, and both of those teams would destroy also teams denmark played. You have a needlessly aggressive attitude. Yes, France would have been the usual bane of DK, and I grant you, that not meeting Spain or Sweden has been lucky. They were, however, beaten by Brazil, which lost with more than 10 goals against Denmark. France has been good, but also lucky with its adversaries (Kuwait, Qatar, Austria, Hungary), making less of a dent in the goal records(+47) than DK (+57). On paper, Denmark is top shelf right now. Now, Croatia will be interesting. Beating France with 3 is no easy feat, but that was after a game where they nearly lost to Hungary - the weakest quarter-finalist by far.
