Sakuya is hilarious, a full month of preparation all to remind someone who's actively intimidated by her of her humanity. An extremely elaborate power play, but incredibly funny.

if to think about it not in a funny oneshot comic perspective, that's actually terrifying because 1. *human* sandwiches can be named that for two reasons 2. Sakuya had to make them 3. she was living with a bunch of monsters 4. *but she wasn't the one who was afraid*

Leaving this for whoever finds it but Zounose makes comics where "The true Gensokyo" is explored. To me it feels edgy or horror for shock value. An example is the one where Sanae joins a festival done by Youkais that ends with eating a human sacrifice and the story is Sane's fight against her feelings. Another one is about how dead bodies are used to feed the plants and vegetables eaten by the Myouren temple Yokais and Byakuren. I'm going to guess that all of these comics take place in the same universe (which also means that Marisa has unknowingly eaten flesh tomatoes.)
