Agreed. ToggleSprint in BadLion client also just changed the behavior of how sprinting works. I needed to re-record The Centennial Festival for Magical Girls for this, and what I thought would take 5 minutes took me 2 hours to relearn the proper key sequence to start a song. Someone deserves a Master Spark for that :)

It took closer to a month when I first started making songs, but got quicker as I got the process down. I'm currently working with stable diffusion to generate a touhou related AI video, which is why I haven't posted any new Minecraft songs lately.

Thanks! I made the songs over the course of about 2 years mixed with non EoSD songs and other video storytelling (MMD/etc). Knowing what I know now, if I were to start from scratch and do it all over it would probably take me about 4 months.

Why the beacons in floor?

They are measure markers. It's not part of the song structure, I just needed something that visually sticks out, so it could be any block. I put them at the very first block of each measure on each track. That way when I run clone and forceload commands I can quickly and easily see which block I'm looking for.

All of my Minecraft songs are in vanilla Minecraft; no mods. The downside is I can't really adjust tempo, but I wanted to keep it all vanilla if possible so if others want to learn how to make songs they don't have to get any special software.
