Just thought I'd shout out a channel called "Blammo". He's a pretty small channel but makes good use of a lot of these advanced note block techniques.

Finally I've found what I needed. I have been making some random noteblock songs in note block studio and also saw many noteblocks songs made in the game that were really amazing, and always wondered how to do that, this came at the perfect time.

This is the same for note block composition as height variation shading is for map art. I hope this gets mainstream and best Minecraft musicians will be able to craft with this.

Shoo whee! I've been making noteblock songs for a while now and have always stuck to what I'm comfortable with. That tends to be only using the harp and bass sounds to create songs. It works and the songs are recognizable but when compared to some of the more complex songs out there they become one dimensional. I've been intimidated to try to make something more complex and I think its because I never really knew where to start. This video definitely has got me thinking about all the different possibilities with noteblocks that I never really knew were possible. And now I gotta jump into a creative world and start messin around with these concepts! Just wanted to say great video and thank you for thee noteblock wisdom!

I’m working on an adventure map in survival, and these note block songs are something I’m starting to add in. I built a windmill and left an Easter egg to one of my favorite songs from the greatest game of all time, Ocarina of Time, The Song of Storms.

Another trick might be to use the piston trick (or some other n.5 trick) at just the beginning of the track and that signal along in a separate line from the main line.

I have been thinking of getting into noteblock music so I can eventually make a survival railway that has music ambiance at specific points on the ride. Thought it could be cool to take songs with certain feelings and put them along the way in areas to give it more weight when you pass through.

hey quick question, you manipulate the volume by putting the noteblock further or closer, but how do you control the delay? i saw the example in your video was just to put them away too but wont that just decrease the volume?

Yes, the tracks that are further away were also 1.5 and 3 repeater ticks later using the piston trick
