I'm not saying metal won't fit, but it's just that this style of metal doesn't feel right with Touhou. Despite how sinister this song and how well it goes with metal, I've never really liked any metal arrangements of Heian Alien. But it really depends on the genre. Demetori is noticeably heavier than this, but their style of metal (a sort of of progressive power metal combined with heavy metal) fits surprisingly well with the Touhou melodies, and I could certainly call them my one of my favouri
