The golden days are over? Personally I think they've only recently arrived. While I do some aspects of Touhou have been getting weaker (the last few games have been quite bad gameplay-wise lmao), the other aspects have been getting that much stronger. The written stuff is superb (Forbidden Scrollery is one of my all-time favourite comic books), the music has gotten better imho (Neo-Traditionalism of Japan is ZUN's best music album, fight me), the plot in general has been getting better (the amount of worldbuilding like in LoLK, HSiFS and WBaWC is unprecedented, damn)
