【東日本大震災から10年③】発災15日後の大槌町吉里吉里・山田町の映像【現在との比較】 Otsuchi Kirikiri and Yamada 15 days after Tsunami

東日本大震災から来月で10年になります。発災15日後の2011年3月26日に、津波被害の現地調査で釜石市から宮古市にかけて訪れた際の映像と現在の映像を比較しながらご覧いただきたいと思います。
第三回目は大槌町吉里吉里地区と山田町の織笠・山田・大沢地区となります。これらの地域に限ったことではありませんが、明治三陸津波と同程度の津波を想定した防潮堤をはるかに超える大津波で甚大な被害を受けております。東日本大震災ののような大地震は数百年から千年周期で発生すると言われますが、地球の歴史からすると一瞬の出来事です。次いつ来るか分からない災害に対して、10年前の悲劇を教訓に、風化させずに次の世代へ繋いでいかなければなりませんね。
Next month marks the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake. On March 26, 2011, 15 days after the disaster, I would like you to compare the current video with the video of my visit from Kamaishi City to Miyako City during a field survey of tsunami damage. The third time will be in the Otsuchi-cho Kiri-Kiri district and the Yamada-cho Orikasa, Yamada, and Osawa districts. Although it is not limited to these areas, it has been severely damaged by a large tsunami that far exceeds the seawall that was assumed to be a tsunami of the same magnitude as the Meiji Sanriku Tsunami. It is said that large earthquakes such as the Great East Japan Earthquake occur in cycles of several hundred to 1,000 years, but from the perspective of the history of the earth, they are instantaneous events. In response to disasters that we do not know when the next disaster will come, we must learn from the tragedy of 10 years ago and pass it on to the next generation without letting it fade away.

中学生の時に震災で家が全壊したのを機に、山田から離れて宮古に。 その後、上京して以来、ほとんど帰ってませんが、現在は区画整理されて震災前の面影はほとんど皆無ですね… 震災直後の貴重な映像をありがとうございました。 懐かしさをとても感じることが出来ました。

コメントありがとうございます。震災前の状況もよく知っていたので、仕事とはいえ現地を訪れた時は非常にショックで、映像も封印していました。震災10年の区切りもありましてこのような形で公開させていただいてましたが、お役に立ててとてもうれしいです。 コロナ禍もあり、内陸の人間ですら足を運ぶ機会が少なくなりましたが、沿岸の皆さんは工夫を凝らし様々な形で地元を盛り上げる努力をしています。是非機会がありましたら三陸にお立ち寄りください。

Pienso también q hubo negligencia de la gente a esperar la última hora para evacuar...por eso hubo tantos muertos y desaparecidos... Nunca había visto una catástrofe de esa magnitud

Si bien el número de personas que experimentaron un gran tsunami causado por el terremoto está disminuyendo, también es cierto que hubo personas que dijeron que esta vez no fue un gran problema. Cualquier desastre puede causar un gran daño por tal descuido.
