I think that wouldve been hard and messy and too much members. If you want an example, search up Ledt or LEDApple. They were a dance-rock band that debuted in 2010. They have just recently disbanded. If you want another, AOA's debut was kinda like this. Their debut MV was a mix of the dance group and the band unit parts. I think this format could possibly work if they promoted separately but under the same name/group. Like NCT.

Not saying that LEDApple was messy. I think they were great. Messy for NEOZ because dance + band team would have 13 members on stage. And see how the drummer Seungseok would never be able to move from his spot. He was left in the back the whole time.

i think they changed the lyrics to be broadcasted. i remember there is this song before entitled 'Paldangdam' and it was banned for broadcast cause the dam sounds like 'damn' in the song.

FNC artists are probably given the chance to shift from band to dance training. I read from somewhere Hwiyoung used to be a band trainee and started dancing just a year ago? Not sure about that. But it's really hard for most band trainees because learning an instrument, mastering them and learning how to compose band music is very very different from dance training. Also, I think Chulmin's voice would have been a waste in a group with 9 members and his voice would sound better with band songs than with pop/hip hop songs that are the trend for idol dance groups nowadays.
