How much coal does this power station burn a day any idea

There are two units each are 450 mega watts. When running full load they burn about 700 ton per hour, or about 17000 ton per day.

MrMaxamillion67 Thank you it’s 6:03 and the sun is shining here in Staffordshire England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. I’m gobsmacked how much coal.. Our small town was a deep coal mine it was closed by the hated Margaret thatcher 28 years ago.. There was still huge amounts of coal left in its seems. The power station next door switched off 2 years ago the EU said it was to dirty “such a lie”.. The town is called Rugeley Pit was leahall colliery.
