D2k Arcade for Intellivision (Highscore.com 12600)

After contacting the seller of this rom on his site. I donated him $10 and he sended me this 2012 rom version. After i was finally able to extract the rar file into bin files through winrar online. I was finally able to play the game through nostalgia 4 emulator. What i do found weird was unlike the 2011 version of it. Even if you push those arrow keys in the direction you want, key C will only allow you to jump left while key A will only allow you to jump right. So i had to rely on my instict to get through the game. Another stupid issues with that emulator is the small screen size and the fact that only 30 frames are shown rather then 60 frames,eventhrough the game does run in 60fps. As a result, some enemies do get randomly invisible so you have to guess where they are at any point. This leads to unfair cheap death’s Likely i was however able to beat the game any way but it was very difficult because of these issues. Still through it feels very rewarding nontheless,phew🤣

Excellent work! This is the version Coleco SHOULD'VE made for Intellivision. Of course they were too threatened to lose business to Intellivision and Atari so they made their versions like crap. Bad karma on Coleco which is why their system died a fast death.

Yep, and then consider that the version Coleco made for their own console was sub-par also. Coleco gets a lot of praise by people, but not from me. Atari on the other hand made excellent ports for the Colecovision.

I hope all the flickering is due to lousy emulation. Intellivision games don't flicker.

I'm not sure how they did it. I only played it. I didn't have anything to do with the making of the game. It's really good though.
