Clay golem + cold damage + decrepify is basically a full stop bonus for boss farming, before I switched to an insight iron golem, this was a great boon.

Don't necessarily need to keep him alive, you only need to make enough mana back to resummon Clay Golem 4:40. Only just make sure neither you nor Merc dies.

@@GGMentor honestly I play a necro off line and the amount of the game mechanics that you have provided me is beyond helpful. And I love the way you break everything down a lot of the other d2r folks just assume that we know a lot more than a lot of us dont know.

Clay golem is great But a plus to Clay golem and golem mastery wands or heads are rare and tough to get (wands are shop-able but kinda only act 1-2 normal) A necro head or wand with plus to clay golem and golem mastery can only spawn by monsters between levels 6-29. level 30+ wands and heads will only spawn with golem mastery but you can get golem mastery and 2-3 to all summoning skills

Oh, in D2R, you can summon Golems in town. Jerym will be angry if he finds out you vandalized his pavement .... This also brings some Griefing Potential with Iron Golems.

It was a common griefing tactic yes, but it was also more anti griefing. So if someone was teasing you by dropping their enigma just out of reach and then picking it up again before you could grab it. You could just turn their enigma into an iron golem to troll them right back =)

My Necromancer can seem to go anywhere in the game, but I can't defeat Uber Diablo with him as all my skeletons get smashed in seconds. Has anyone tried with success the Clay Golem + iron maiden cheese on uber Diablo?

It seems like it might not synergiZE that well with all the skeletons running around getting attacked.

Combing him with a Holy Freeze mercenary in Nightmare is incredible. Oh while nowhere near as knowledgable as you I was wondering why the most obvious benefit of the Clay Golem was not mentioned as an advantage. Like the Blood and Fire Golem the Clay can be summoned anywhere and at low levels that matters.

Eh 😐 this golem is dumb cheap in pvp. If u roffle stomp someone in pvp with this and have a ton of plus skills and they survive ur nuke fest u will deliver, then the golems lil trap effect goes into effect... Slow..... And omfg it's slow af don't get roffle stomped by a Necro. Also this is insane for bosses

the cap is 80% slow, it can never exceed that. but 80% is Reeeeeally slow lol

@@deathbuda freeze is a different mechanic that stops the monster completely, but only for a small period of time. It does not technically stack with slow. Chill however, it does stack with slow
