Come along with me on this journey of speculation if you will. An Act 5 Frenzy merc, wielding an ethereal upped max ed dual Ist'd Ali BaBa. While also wearing the highly praised full Sazabi's set for it's survivability, socketed with 2 Ptopaz's in the armor pieces and a final Ist in the sword.

Had 2 of these with my find item barb. The gold was very nice!

Torumekia, is a throw barb with high Dex and Frenzy. What I did was, I upgraded one of these and slotted it with Ber, Lo, and paired it with a Heart Carver mithril point slotted with an Shael for the off-hand. When mf'ing he's horking bosses, if they don't pop something from his extreme DS crits. It works extremely well! With Frenzy, CB procs a lot and DS drops'em. Thats all you need, to make up for the sub-optimal weapon damage. Gwini the Rogue is rockin' CoH & Mist, so even without his high Dex, he's always hitting, and she's always CC'ing mobs. Btw, high AR seems to have a positive effect on Item Find. 👍 3rd Cerebus Bite in the Season, and he drops a 4 / 2 / 110%! - the two others are 2 / 1's. Man, was I .. lost for words, put it that way.

5:22 just combine this with the improved skill Find item of the barbarian and could be the best begginer character today to start.

If you look at the original movie sort (made in the 1950s), Ali Baba was considered a Barbaric Assassin in the way he..... uh, flexed his prowess with 2 swords, how he could sweep other women off their feet. Ali Baba was actually Alladjinni in disguise to get in her castle. Consider it is a weapon, IST Runes inserted grant 30% MF per rune extra. Note that a character that wants to do magic find later in the game, 2 ghosted Ali Baba's Hydra Edges can hire an act 5 with those, put them with.... Harley Shako? And whatever choice of protection.....

How would the merc get the kills with 2 alibaba's? The mf and magic find only count if he gets the kills. Maybe a nova sorc and get em super low with static/nova then let the merc finish?

Item has some crazy passive effects but ends up taking out a special spot to make you do more damage or have more def also. Basically makes u handicapped. It's very nice on specific chr builds though, aka find item barb 😂

I got 2 rare jewels with 2 resistances each plus like 9 mf and some extra stats so my blade of alli baba is this massive stat stick with like 80 resistance 9 str some mana per kill and 18 extra magic find

This game has a real problem with it's magic find compared to the level you are actually at in the game. I'm restarted solo self found with a whole plan of farm here, look for X, equip that to increase mf, then proceed to next area and look for next piece that can work with build. Currently finishing nightmare at lvl 71 and I've found literally 1 piece of gear i was looking for. Thinking I could find tancred's partial set for mf, I've found the amulet. And that's literally it. I found my 50ish mf gear in normal and literally nothing has changed and nothing has dropped to replace it. This is incredibly annoying. It feel like playing a gatcha game where you just gamble on killing X thousands of monsters to eventually get literally the 1 only thing you care about or is useful.

@@panzfaust9812 not really. More players increases the quality of drops and rate but divide it among X players and then you lvl faster too. Characters outscale every low and mid level gear just looking for pieces of a build. Get to level 90 before you find the pieces of cow King leathers....etc...
