Good budget smiter weapon I find. Either one of these or black in a flail. Crushflange also. Some goblin toe and any of those weapons and your at like 50% CB

I found a perfect ED with +3 from a hell Maggot recently. I feel the weapon is slightly underrated, it some ways it's more versatile than Grief because you don't need extra crushing blow, and it works out better with an auradin set up. I think putting another 2 bers in it is pretty funny.

An eth Zodded Heaven's Light with a ED/IAS jewel is one of my favourite weapons for a Zealot.

With the changes to FOH this is going to be my target weapon come Season1. TC63 and mLvL 69 means you can farm it most places in Hell (notably andi and meph) and with +2-3 in skills and 33% CB native and 1-2 sockets (Shael) make it the best for the new FOH/Smite hybrid build. its not all that common due to the class specific 1/5 modifier but being that its pretty niche in application it likely is going to be fairly cheap early on. definitely worth considering until you can roll a Grief.

FoH/Smite Hybrid is really old. It's weird to see someone say this is new Lol they were/are called Vindicators and are really good. You'd basically shake and bake people, close range with smite and FoH them when they got distance.

@@sebgal8544 its been a spec in the PVP space for sure, but in the PVE setting the buffs in 2.3 and 2.4 moved it from obscurity to relevance; most notably the piercing effect on the Holy Bolts. Unless they get nerfed in 2.5 they are the kings of P1 chaos farming and are finally a realistic alternative to starting early ladder as a sorc. Which is why there was a sudden uptick of interest in the build surrounding D2R season 1.

@@bobnewkirk7003 Didn't know that! I guess all I ever did was PvP so I didn't think in terms of PvE. I can see the viability with the buff to Holy Bolt for sure, a skill I always wished was more usable. It's nice to see it's being worked on.

I got a near perfect Heaven's Light and I've really been enjoying it. Made a Fister, Smiter, Zealer and it works surprisingly well. Fist of Heavens for main AOE mob clearing, zeal for what FoH can't hit, and smite for the bosses. I thought I made a mistake in maxing fanaticism instead of smite, but turns out that was actually the best choice because it makes zeal useful.

When making my uber zealer/smiter I could of course have just gone with Grief, I certainly had/have the wealth to do so...but I chose to go with Heaven's Light, because it really is just such an amazing weapon.

If anyones at a loss with what to socket it with? - Socket it with what its missing. It has no AR% (Gul), and no Open Wounds (Um), "GulUm"; nor Deadly strike (Lo). - it doesn't matter how many hits you do if most result in white X's; and while monsters can shrug off certain effects, they can't negate, innate procs. Even if they are phys immune. Wouldn't say, "it needs more speed", though.. its fast enough. The LoH will do the trick. - The facets you mentioned are a good idea.

Great budget find for my smier paladin with 2 shael runes. Until I find a Lo for my Grief runeword blade, it really deals good work against ubers. :)

One of the most balanced weapons in the game for a Pali imo, the eth version is highly sought after for pvp when it doing pure melee DPS
