Ah Shadowfang. It's one of those first uniques I recall getting so many years ago, thinking, "woaah, imagine what this thing can do if I build my paladin correctly". Fun times. I have some cool backstories made up in my mind even for lowly uniques like this.

Dropped that one with my sorceress and propped me to make a barb....With it he blitzed through normal. Thanks for this well thought out vid, I am gonna upgrade it for sure and see how far into NM it goes.

Suggestions: make a video about the most common unique item that drop (and why you probably don't want to keep some of them even if you are doing the holy grail quest). Another video about uniques that do not have a random property (maybe focusing at good items, such as the Occulus) would also be nice.

Shadowfang was the centerpiece of my Life Steal Sword Barbarian. It's great and my Barbarian was able to get his Life Steal up to 18% before I got the Runes for a King's Grace in a Dimensional Blade.

I've duel wielded these swords and their pretty badass looking. I've farmed using these up to LVL 25 ish doing Tal tomb runs. I've always kept this sword for it's effects

Boneash dropped this for my solo self-found pally and I used it to kill Baal 20 levels later. Cold damage and mana leach did work until I hit Nightmare Woodfist.

This was the demon blade that was forged in the Hell Forge. Izual wield Azurewrath during his ill-fated assault on the Hell Forge, to prevent it's creation. The Azurewrath used to be a weak crystal sword, before being buffed. It is LONG overdue that the Shadowfang sees a buff. Why would Izual assault the Hell Forge to prevent this piece of crap from being forged?!?

I very much enjoyed dual-wielding this on my Barbarian in Normal.

Used a shadowfang for a Luke skywalker cosplay through normal difficulty. Paladin with holy fire and zeal can barely make it through.

Emeralds are green. It has nothing to do with Minecraft 😄

I was referring to the exact shade of green being the same. You could hold a hundred green items to each other and compare and they would all be a different shade of green. Shadowfang is literally exactly the same shade of green as the emeralds in minecraft which is quite a coincidence and I don't believe in coincidences =p
