One of my fav armors. I upped mine twice and put a 15% IAS jewel in it, used it until about lvl 75 when I made treachery

this used to be a top tier HC vanilla diablo 2 armor back in the day as it allowed you to hit the max block chance especially on casters

Twitchthroe was the Amazon armor of choice before LoD came out in 2001. Great armor zon armor in classic.

i always kept two twitchthroes on my mule (eth + uneth). same with crow caw, every stat is really good for leveling a whole bunch of different characters. edit: i just created a bowazon. the single reason for it is that i got kinda hyped here and want her to wear this armor for a while :)

Totally agree that this is very cool starting armor, i used this until level 20 on my Amazon coz switch to Stealth studded armor, my merc used this until level 20 also due to keep dying already. I hope this armor will lower the level requirement would be better.

Perf Twitch. Add Goblin toe, Swordback shield, rare Battle Hammer and maybe a 244 duped helm, Angelic set rings and amu and do some classic bvb (late patch bvb). I don't remember what belt or gloves one would use. Some rares i guess. I do remember that i found a Twitch in a chest once, like 17 years ago.

Used to be considered BIS for passive zons because it was the only thing that would allow them to reach max block (75% block with 50+% chance to dodge was insane). Its why you used to see so many sword n board blondes back on BNet in the day (as they were essentially the best pure tank as a result).

unfortunately using an actual sword, would ruin your block frames, the only way to retain the 75% block with decent frames was to use a Javelin, or a dagger. The amazon has a 5 frame block with a jav, but a 17 Frame block with a Sword. 17 Frame block is so slow that it can literally get you killed. diablo.fandom.com/wiki/Faster_Block_Rate

@Ginger Gaming Mentor oh I know her block frames are horrible -- however, with twitch and a faster+maxblock shield with yoir dodge maxed, it didn't matter because they couldn't hit you. Like I said: there was a reason passive zons were a huge thing in the original game. To the point you could get dodge glitched in a lightning hose repeatedly and never die lol

I've honestly never had high regard for this armor. Alot of the times I'm using set items over this for the set bonuses. I can try and work this into more builds. Save you a step In adding Eth bonus is you just go 1.50x33=49.5+25=74.5 What's the name of the low LVL set you use?

That green is beautiful! 💚 How would you like if rare drops would be implemented to the game called Dye Packets? You could change any armour color even if it is a fully socketed unique. I really hate that the gem dyeing happens pretty only much on stash alt gear and maybe YELLOW because a Perfect Topaz is pretty much the only viable socket gem. 😭 The purple dye packet would be the rarest because in ancient times purple used to be the most difficult dye to make only used by royalty and some players would be willing to give a Ber for a Purple Dye Packet. They could also be called Amethyst Dye Vial etc. 💜

@@Thalasius The purists are just a few loud individuals that most likely have autism which is fine every person is valuable. Very similar with the genwunners of the Pokemon fandom who renounce any Pokemon that are not part of the original 151 (yeah coz Electrode and Diglett are such creative masterpieces. 😉). When they see the cool new things they are going to love them, but they just have a powerful fear of change. My husband has some autistic traits and he hesitates so badly when I offer some new delicious food/treat/candy, but when he tastes it he wants more and his face lights up! ✨
