I have a CB GRIEF and a 225%damage GF SWORD. The GF starts to weaken once you get to Hell Sanctuary. GRIEF plows through everything in the game. I still use the GF for style and nostalgia points. Its like driving a Porsche while the GRIEF is the Ferrari.

As a fan of the original Diablo, I have a special affection for items that are from the original game. One of my D2R goals is to kit out a character full of gear from the first game - eg Arkaine's Valor, Stormshield, Veil of Steel, and this beautiful sword ❤️

The whole 1K of AR difference was not coming from that bonus. Part of it was that 20 dex the sword gave you.

I really think they should nerf, or even remove, some runewords. Would bring some of these cool uniques back into the spotlight.

Just buff some uniques. Nerfs are lame and stop people from doing what they have been doing/enjoy. As long as they're careful buffs are the way to go.

Yayyyy found one earlier this morning, can count on one hand how many times this dropped in the past few decades!! 7:10 I doubt this would outclass ebotd if eth, but in all honesty why can't sets/uniques spawn eth to try to compete? My main gripe with this sword is lack of ANY wIAS.... as we all know a treachery is not going to help a barb WW, since WW is dependant on wIAS only! Maybe this would work better on a werebear... hmmm...

Just got this to drop off of trash in Durance of Hate 3 somehow, and it rolled well with 227% ED. Could have been better, but definitely way worse as well. This drops, but I still can’t get a Jalahl’s to drop for my fury Druid, lol.

So you want a Pimp-Barb? I mean I'd use it if I had it (and could wield it yet, my barb is low 30s at the moment because I am still missing the IK-Armor and some decent weapons...Bloodletters aren't bad for the level, but later on they aren't great) :D

Yes, you can dual wield them on barb, I think the attack rating only applies per swing though

Don't see why not, frenzy barbs can dual wield. But the frenzy barb Merc can't used two handed weapons even if it's a sword that can be used one handed. Unless they fix it, that was the current state of things on ptr
