This belt is essential if you want to avoid getting clobbered by the wisps in the Worldstone Keep in Hell Difficulty. Those things can kill you in seconds unless you have lightning absorb.

It's quite a good belt Personally the whole Amazon skill thing is a little annoying but it's kind of a pvp staple and a pve ubers staple

I typically run a razortail for pierce. I have both and the razortail seems to be better even though you are giving up the plus to skills

It really just depends on if you want to have a massive amount of physical damage/elemental damage with bows, or if you just want to have massive electric damage with electric safety and immunity.

This might be budget meta with the new helmet runeword that gives chance to pierce, until you get Griffon's Eye.

I have plus 90 resistances on all four resistances Plus 95 fire, and poison if I could get that belt I'd be 95 resistant on 3 . I have fire and cold absorb , that belt would give me my lighting too . Yep I want that belt

Great debate on which is better, they are both solid choices

I see Razortail as being a solid staple for that mid to late game leveling for a Bowazon, but for a Javazon, it's almost essential. Even without the Amazon skills, it's solid for so many builds, SC or HC, mainly because it literally gives you the Light Max Res AND the Light Absorb, making it so, if you have that large overprotection on Lightning Res, you are still immune to the Souls in Hell Difficulty. The fact you can toss it on an Uber Smiter is just a plus.

Ok so im watching a video about how wisdom runeword is decent because of the pierce and frees up the belt slot from razortail. But i didnt have a tgods on my SSF. I log on and the first meph run it drops from a vampire elite by mephs super chest. Basically i was thinking “ im gonna hunt tgods” and it dropped in 30 seconds. Had to to share with someone….

theoretically a great belt for a javazon but razortail trumps this in practice. maybe a passivezon will benefit from this more

Deciding between Thundegod and Razortail is tricky. Maybe Razortail is better when you just want pure dps (such as cows) and Thundergods is better for Survivability given the life boost and lightening rest/absorb

The thing is is lightning fury is damage doesn't come from the skill itself it comes from the piercing effect. Use lightning fury by itself with no Pierce you'll see what I mean.

Sadly, Razortail as it is currently >>>>tgod's. Maybe if they decreased razortail's piercing effect (which the community would get upset over, myself included) or give a small pierce bonus to tgod's.

If you have alot of equipment that gives plus to strength though I could see having enough strength at which point why not upgrade it ?

Just got this belt. Off topic a bit…if your character dies and you put more gear on them to retrieve their corpse and they die again, is that first set of gear lost forever?

From what I understand you can die up to like ten times before your gear drops.

The only issue occurs if you leave the game with multiple corpses still on the ground. The game then makes a choice of which corpse to bring with you to the next game. If only one corpse is on the ground and you leave nothing is lost. It has to do with multiple corpses on the ground when you leave the game. It seems to take a tally of your gears gold value if sold to npc and the body worth the most gold is saved. Issue with this is some items are worth way more then others like body armor.

Hah the sheet damage has you confused huh. No I don't have a video on that yet, in time. Lightning fury is exponential damage, the sheet damage is a lie and tells you nothing basically. Each hit of the attack launches the written number of bolts of lightning if the appropriate number of monsters is nearby. The skill can pierce up to 5 times. The lightning ⚡ pierced too so depending on how the monsters are Standing the damage changes. For instance at lvl 25 it releases 26 bolts at 740 damage per bolt. So 1 thrown Javelin *5 pierces = (26*5) 130 bolts 130 x 740 = 96,200 damage That's assuming each bolt only hits one target which they won't. Each bolt will likely hit 5-20 targets depending on angle of hit and positioning. So 96,200* 10 hits = 962,000 damage a throw. So lightning fury scales with density the denser and the thicker the pack of monsters is the more damage it does it also does less damage on single targets. Because when you shoot one monster one time with one javelin you get one lightning bolt.

Hello Friend. Is there any way to make the belt menu always open? I don't mean to switch with the "~" button, but to force it to always be open. The problem is that I always use the "esc" button to close menus like quest, vendor and stash and when I use the "esc" button it always closes belt menu and I have to reopen it.
