The 2024 TRD is the quickest Camry you can get at 5.5 sec 0-60. The XSE is at 5.8 sec being a bit heavier. The TRD is a pretty light car that zips pretty good at all speed ranges.

My XSE beat a guy in a TRD, the trd spoiler generates downforce on the back forcing the front to spin worse. And the weight is like 15 pounds different I put them both on a trailer scale.

I bought the EVC throttle controller for my 24 Camry. It made a big difference in response. Its fun to drive in manual sport mode. I'm going for the Borla Exhaust next.

I got the d3 for my 2.5L it nice but somedays it’s noticeable and somedays it’s not, other then that it’s good I’m just running 87 octane tune don’t have aem yet but will soon. But mine came with an enhanced throttle tune for both 87 and 93 which is nice. So since I’m running the 87 no cai it’s not that much difference, but tbh these 8 speed transmissions suck!! My car struggling to accelerate and downshift and shift patterns suck they need to update the transmission module like they did with the 18s and 19s. D3 said I defiantly need the aem to see any difference and told me to run 93 tune with 93 octane to get best performance but gas is so much.

I’m new to Toyota, back in my day Toyota was boring cars. I got a 2015 Avalone as 3rd car ( mostly to drive down to Coral Gables to visit in-laws ) unlike BMW/ Audi ECU Tuning seems limited… Is D3 the only company for 2GR-FE? I’m coming from APR ( Audi) and EuroCharged ( BMW) and I’m shocked soo little for Toyota

Also is that plug into the Port the entire time? That seems bad as port is for diagnostic so keeping it plugged in all the time would damage your car in long run

Yes D3 seems to be the only tuner for these cars, and it’s plugged into my obd port for my gauges and havnt had any problems yet

@@Coles_Garage so that has to be plugged in all the time … people keep those “ insurance savers “ plugged in and cars may not have issues at 1st but eventually do. Cuz that port is for diagnostic only.. BMW , Mercedes, and Audi insist you do not drive the car once plugged in … So you can’t tune and unplug? It has to be in all the time ? I would be vary ..

These new V6 Camrys should be doing 0-60 in 5.1. My 2009 Camry was a sleeping beast. It beat Mustangs, Chargers, Challengers, Camaros, Hondas, Grand Cherokees,motorcycles, a couple of Porsches and other cars. I love Camrys too, but Toyota needs to make certain models a bit faster. The TRD should have been made the fastest. Maybe they don't want to keep within it's self with Lexus.

Just did it for my 23 Camry Le 2.5l and sometimes it feels like the tune isn’t even there, been trying to call them and they won’t answer. First time I tuned 2 days didn’t feel a thing next day 3rd day finally something so I’m confused if tune is even working. Would like to hear feedback

Well probably because it’s the 4 cylinder, there’s not much gain to be had with the 4 banger, so that’s prob why you don’t feel much of a difference

@@Coles_Garage gotcha maybe the 93 hp cold air tune on website shows like 18 without cold air with it’s almost 30 they told me but the shifts are suppose to feel better to, I’m happy I went with 4 over v6 yes v6 more power but won’t last as long but still they told me I’d feel it quit a bit
