In this video, we will show you how easy it is to upload large amounts of data into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central via Configuration Packages. We walk you through how to upload Vendor records specifically, but the same logic applies to uploading any data into Business Central including (but not limited to) Customers, Vendors, Items, Chart of Accounts, Dimensions, and Posting Groups to name a few.

@@markog Thanks for the feedback. I actually have a 4 part series on my KZbin channel if you want to give that a follow. Typically the best practice is to start with your chart of accounts and dimensions, then move into customers and vendors, and finally bring in transactional data. Of course the biggest assumption is that you clean your data up prior to importing. An ERP migration is a great opportunity to cleanse your data and move forward with a highly functioning tech stack.
