I am having SO much fun with this build! I've always enjoyed the part of a tower defense game when you graduate from struggling to kill things, to basically letting each wave run unattended - I get a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction from that, and this is the Diablo version of it. I'm 100% switching to this tonight. I think most people are dug into the mindset that raw damage numbers mean everything. But the utility of having that ring with auto procs is huge when you're busy running around and don't have the time (or are positioned wrong) to cast something. Just let the minions and the ring to do the work! Work smarter not harder.

I agree with everyone else here, this is the best Necro build! I was using Macrobioboi's build and this seems to clear much faster. Kudos to you for finding a better build then some of the other experts! That just seems so hard to do these days. One thing I am experimenting with is combining your build with Howl from Below. This unique seems to take this autopilot build even further. Instead of some of the corpse explosions going off with nobody around, they are now homing missiles and there are shit-tons of them! I know we would be missing out on an aspect, but I would be curious to know what you think of this addition. Awesome job dude!

Honestly with with the stats that we get on gloves and the aspect and tempering it would be hard for me to justify putting those on but feel free to give it a run if you want and let me know how it goes

@@XPGamess Yeah, you are probably right that it might not be worth it. I have been trying Howl From Below gloves with your build all day today and it seems good. There are no wasted corpse explosions. There is miasma wherever there are monsters. Especially nice for highly mobile bosses like the helltide Blood Maiden. She is always flying around in the miasma with Howl tracking those corpse explosions to her. Your build is just so much fun!!

I asked about the same on the last video and must admit that the author has right - you loose to much! In a matter of fact I am even thinking of removing corpse explosion entirely and adding bone storm together with aspect buildng shield on the top of it to have another layer of protection (and reasonable amount of damage).

I got mine in WT3 somehow and it's incredible. Even if you take away all the other parts of it... Casting raise skelly boys once a second... Is so huge. It's never coming off unless I get a new one... Lol

Been running this for the last 4 days and it’s a blast. My issue is single target damage at The Pit Tiers 75+. I’m also barely getting the Tormented bosses down to half life before getting one shotted. The longer the boss fights drag on the lower chance of survival I have through the phases. I’m pretty well stacked on gear, any suggestions? Anyone else experiencing this?

Well honestly something has to be off when it comes to the tormented bosses cause there should not be an issue there and as far as pit bosses in the higher tiers they just have a lot of life.

Commenting just to boost algorithm :) I knew you will eventually come to conclusion that CDR is bigger than CHC. Btw. yesterday chest with +3 Golem mastery dropped me and I bricked it right away. All tempers were "Iron maiden size". If any other I would use it, but that one really don't fit here. Not sure was it bugged yesterday, bricked one decent ring with Greater int and Greater Life too same way . Also yesterday on reddit lots of ppl were complaining that temper rolls only one affix and bricking gear. That's why I am suspecting that it was some kind of bug. But maybe it was just bad day for RNG after all. Today after mini patch I have tempered some gear and it was OK though. Well, time to get another one I guess :) Stay well.

I wish xplosion, tendrils would proc without having them bound hehe. I never considered putting one of them in left click and just not binding the basic skill so I could equip golem also. I'm gonig to do that next time i'm logged in. My build is very similar the only difference is I'm not using a golem because I couldnt' figure out how to bind all the stuff. I have the bonus from him at level 78 and running about 27k attack power. Going to try your layout good looking out. sub from me

Just wanted to give an update on using this build. I have done things I have never done before using this build! I killed The Butcher in a Nightmare 100 dungeon, killed tormented/uber Vershan & Duriel, and am up to level 70 in the pit! All without elixir of holy bolts. I think it is just because of the efficiency of the unique ring going off every second that pushes this build to S tier. I am not a robot and would never be as diligent with those casts. Getting a 1-1-8 ring helped too! Thanks again XP!

Thanks for this. I had a similar build while leveling up, much less thought into it as it was for leveling. When I got into the 80s everyone said I had to go shadow minion so like a sheep I did. I just did not like it, I switched to this build tonight and the fun is back. Movement speed makes the game feel good and you can still cheese holy bolts for afk Helltides :)

Finally a build that uses sacriligious. I LOVE that ring and always disregard the second ring slot on any build i watch lol. Interesting using the armor aspect. Unfortunately, there are a lot of mechanics in the higher tiers that are 1 shot regardless of what you do, you just have to learn them and dodge/avoid

Have they done testing with the armor cap? Cause it reads as the cap vs your level is that 9230 or whatever it was, but what about vs stuff higher level? Would more armor not help vs stuff higher level? Also, I never knew stacking the %damage was recommended over stuff like vuln or crit, I'm guessing you are just trying to up the base damage?

Yes on the damage and when it comes to the armor cap blizzard devs confirmed 9400 armor is all you need for everything in the game it doesn't keep scaling anymore with high monster levels.

@@KMQ0 Yeah I Thought about that, but the problem is that is just a bit more additive damage for your golem which isn't that much overall considering it already has like 1500 additive damage and the more additive damage you stack it has diminishing returns, the damage you get from imbiber is not an additive it adds overall to your base damage which in turn goes to your minions therefore you will get more out of it.

Hey man, great Job on cooking your own Build. But 2 things i need to mention, your Pants Engraving is cripling yourself. Armor Cap is roughly at 9360. Every point of armor above that is simply wasted. Imho you are missing out on alot of Dmg using Ring of Sac Souls and Not using Shadowblight and Bloodmist. But you seem to have Fun and thats the most Important Thing ❤ Cheers Marshl

I have "+XX% Healing Received" on my pants (where you have skeleton mage mastery). It couples well with the "+XX Life on Kill". As long as my minions are killing things, my life orb instantly recovers any damage I may take. I didn't even know until this build that it was possible to stay in the circle of the "Ravenous Soulspire" until it ends - I previously had to step outside the circle to end the event early when the life drain got too much

I also only play no cheese minions builds. Actually went mendeln up to 100 and beyond and just took it off last night since im getting better golem tempers. Basically put 25% damage with barrier since i use Temerity tech + Blood orbs + Priest. Juggernaut is overkill, i have 10k without it. I use kalans, no SB. I also cant functino without bloosmist so i dont use CE. Looking for tyreals might and then will drop Temerity tech.

Interesting build while a lot of it is probably due to preference and playstyle. I find the minion is pretty tanky so that 3 passive to minion could be spend elsewhere. At pit LVL 70 I still don't need any additional minion armor and res nodes. If you are willing to give up 3% moving speed and the 3 minion passive you could get into terror for more damage or more DR with decrepify ranks. Also pretty sure embiber is an additive damage and 106% is pretty meh as additive when you can grab amplify for a 10% multiplicative just for cursing the enemy.

The amount of raw damage imbiber adds to the tooltip I honestly don't see how it could be additive, but you could switch it out for sure I'm sure amp is a good option also.

That's just how it is, in higher tiers you have to learn the mechanics and dodge them, and some bosses are harder then others for sure.

13:43 I wasn't able to temper my necklace for Golem Active Cool Down Reduction. Maybe I didn't unlock the tempering recipe but the only things I can Temper on my necklace was mobility and offensive. I was able to do it for my rings however. I also wanted to say I had pretty much the same exact build and was surprised to see this video. Your video definitely helped me improve and I appreciate it.

I'm loving this build. Got most of the gear already (only missing Golem Mastery on the Chest) and of course, greater afixes. This is insane. I'm working now on leveling Sigils. I have a question regarding the Paragon Board. In your video, it seems that you did Hulk Mojsstrosity earlier than what is indicated in the builder. Can you tell me the correct order for the Paragon Boards?

Honestly, I didn't set that up as a leveling guide in terms of order to take things it was more just an endgame setup so feel free to path into things as you feel necessary until you are 100.

Question: doesn't the armor cap at 9300 something?(according to Maxroll, of cos Maxroll isn't always correct) and minions get all the stats (include armor and resists) from us, so what's the point of getting more armor and resist for the minions in the paragon?

Yes, they are supposed to inherit 100% of our stats now I was just unsure 100% on the res/armor but feel free to move the points around

Hello, so much thank you for this build. I stay on Eternal realm and re-item my old characters, because Season benefits are so low. For testing new itemization seems to me time/gain cost the best choice. I switched aspect and paragon boards according to your build and it is really good. Now i finalize my glyphs in NM dungeons(for have at least 15lvl each used). Then i will start with the pits.

Corpse tendrils is constantly going off, the damage from the mages is a nice chunk. I used to run cold though.

How do you get away with 1 cold res temper and be capped res? Does upgrading rings and amulet give a big boost to all resistances?? That is a puzzle im struggling with

Honestly in season 4 I didnt but I have seen plenty of them from other creators and I think mine is better, there may be a better one out there but I haven't seen it up to this point.

I am about to switch to this build tonight to try out, the build im using is just 3 paragon boards with nodes picked willy nilly, i hate picking a build when im NOT level 100. Already leveled the glyphs to 15 just to early prep for this. Fingers crossed

@@Axlradleigh scythe has more base damage then the 2 handed sword, slightly slower att speed but that doesn't matter for the build

Good Stuff I am gonna try to put back the unique ring, since I listened to others, but i miss it so much. I have a question though..how come You have all that res gems + Cold res tempered? With a bit of masterworking and so much intel we don't need ANY gems or res, I am at the cap ( I have 1900 int though). I choose to put some skulls for armor instead, and 1 point in the + armor SKILL, then I have an aspect free(max cap armor so no Juggernaut). Also doesn't Juggernaut increases the cooldown on evade too much if using Moonrise aspect is a must? Anyway, thanks!

Main reason I have res in gems is I can put more useful stats on my gear and basically nothing useful in my ring sockets so I would assume put them there, furthermore I would prefer to use up the one aspect and just take care of my armor then use multiple spots on gear for it where I can get other stats but you could switch it up to your liking for sure.

What about aspect of grasping veins? It’s free crit chance especially since the unique ring is casting it automatically. Also noticed you don’t have crit chance on gloves or ring…

Yeah, I discuss that in the gearing section. And the casts of grasping from sac ring does not proc the aspect only our casts but either way I prioritize other more beneficial aspects over grasping, I did use it for a while though

U tried hulking aspect instead of evade aspect on boots? Seems you would have higher unstoppable uptime with that since your using juggernaut

I have run hulking you dont even really notice it honestly, juggernaut is great to cap without using slots on gear.

working wel... but how do i stop corpse explosion from spamming.. if its on left click i occasionally start casting it instead of walking

You gotta go into settings and unbound it, just set left click to walk and interact.
