D40 NAVARA LIFT KIT INSTALL + 265/70/17 MUD TYRES

We're doing something a little different in this video & installing a lift kit in our 2009 Titanium edition D40 Navara as well as some 265/70/17 mud tyres. Special thanks to @latenighttyres for all the help! Enjoy.

You can tell which ute you preferred. Had the Great Wall and barely talked about it. Got the Navarra and there's a whole ep on it immediately. Nice work with the new rig mate!

Be aware Navaras have timing chain issues at high kms and ad diesel injector cleaner to tank on long trips keeps the injectors clean just couple of common issues, keep up the sick content and the merch wedpage is sick 🤘

Only the early models. 2012 they fixed most the issues. Mines and 07 spainish with 180k klms not been done. And no signs yet. Touch wood.

When you buy a d40 model with over 150.000km upgrade the timing chain and change the injectors. Trust me I know..

@@tasosvenetsanos stop doubting them mate I’ve had my 2013 d40 Spain since 2015 and had 75000 km fast farward to 2023 she’s got 300,000km and never had a single issue never done anything to the engine she been the best car I’ve ever owned

is there no collision with the control arm if lifting, cuz if lifting the control arm will constant hit the coil camber ... cuz lifting means going off road and not only asfalt roads.. let me know

Hi Mike I did order same kit. Just wanted to know do I have to replace rear shock absorber after using this kit. Looks like rear shock absorber is 2 inch less and have no much absorber. Would be great to hear back people. Cheers.

Thinking about purchasing a navara myself and want to do this exact mod (same kit and tyres as video) to the one I get but want to know if it will be legal in QLD without getting engineering certs and mod plates and all that stuff. Dont panic, the reason the poms ute snap is cause they salt the roads. All utes have been known to bend when a lot of extra weight is added.. particularly on the very ass end.

All the spacer kits I find on eBay either say for the Thai model (MNT) and that they won't work with the Spain model (VSK). Or it just doesn't specify at all. Is yours a Spain or Thai? And if you know of one for a Spain model can you (or someone) point me in the right direction?

Hey! Yeah I don't know why they say they're for the Thai model as they fit both! Mine's a Spain model and my kit said it was for the Thai model only. Weird!

This kit will help. Yours must have been modified to be higher at the rear for towing purposes

Clearly you have no idea what your talking about. Did you extend the front bump stops? Did you replace the leaking front strut? If you actually went off-road in it, you would get a lot of axle wrap from those garbage blocks. Ect ect. But sure, if your happy mate

Guys like you crack me up. You bag stuff you've never even used, just because it isn't up to your 'Karen' standards. This is a $150 lift kit. I've always been realistic about my expectations from it and this kit has exceeded them.
