One of the 90s BEST "every-man" hip hop trio. For those that dont know, not every hip hop head emulates viilence and crime. These cats represented mostly everybody we knew in NYC. They WERE the norm: cool, down to earth, fun, full of confidence and intelligence but not flashy. Thats hiw it was. Like, you could picture yourself in the background of EVERY Bush Babies video cause...they showed real scenes.

I don't think I've thought about this song in years but after finding the tape, I had to come listen again. Definitely takes me back to simpler times, late 94, 7th grade in NYC..I loved these dudes as well as Lords of the underground, underrated rappers for sure.

I put my headphones in and bumped Mobb Deep "The Bridge 94" as I walked across the Queenborough Bridge on a cold December evening and I was transported to another era in an instant! What a feeling..
