And another thing when you work in double time do you set your bpm to 80 when you are done ? im confused about that double time workflow xD
@DaDrankKang5 жыл бұрын
This sample came from vinyl. My samples come from multiple places. Vinyl is just one.
@DaDrankKang5 жыл бұрын
@@st1llfr338 there is not much difference. People use double time when you have faster elements in a beat. Like trap style hihats or trans edm music. It's easier in double time than boombap which is generally a bit slower style. It's your choice. Either won't make or break your beat. 👍

Like the videos brotha.. definitely picking up a few things.. never produced beats before but I was compelled to grab this mpc x .. there's something beautiful about it.. anyhow I'm not doing too bad.. but my question is.. Do I need a laptop or desktop to incorporate those vst's and other tricks to make fuller beats?
@DaDrankKang4 жыл бұрын
Glad to help out. Desktop or laptop doesn't matter. Just make sure you have enough power in them to accomplish what you need. Some plugins and vsts take alot of resources so you need a system to handle it or your audio will lag and stutter. Enough RAM a fast and nice size hard drive to store everything all of that is a plus. 👍🏾

@@sebastiangalarza2949 that's cool. Just a tip for you. When you deal with professional people meaning people who do this for a living as a business always follow and respect their way of handling business if you want to accomplish something with them. They aren't like you. They have spent time effort and money on constructing links and specific ways for people to deal with them. 👍 I get a ton of messages through IG. That is why we don't handle business there. 💯 my website has all information if you would like to contact us to for anything you need. Even inquiries about something you see. 👍

I don't use a lot of vsts. Maybe 3. Arch Synth, Vaporizer 2 and Dune 3 are good for sound design. I am a sound designer so I create my own presets for vsts. Check out studio linked and industry kits for some good vsts if you can't make your own sounds. 👍 My advice is don't worry about what other people have. Sound is all around you. Study how to manipulate sound and you can make anything you want. 💯

How did you add Nexus in those other vsts into your MPC software
@DaDrankKang5 жыл бұрын
Google "JBridge" it is a program designed to take 32bit vsts/plugins and bridge them to 64bit software. Once that is done your software will now pick up the vst. The image may not show so you need to go into the settings of JBridge to make it appear in its own window. If you notice in the video Nexus is not in the mpc vst window. It shows in its own window. The people from the company explained to me how to make it work years ago. There is a help section on their website. Any other 64bit vsts or plugins the mpc software will pickup normally. 👍

@@DaDrankKang thanks bro I just figured out how to add my waves plugins and I'm definitely going to check that website out appreciate it
@DaDrankKang5 жыл бұрын
@@aquafocus6829 waves plugins are a bit harder. They show one time when you open them on the track then when you close it and open it again it may not show again until you restart the project again. I use a "workaround". It's a plugin by " BlueCat" that allows you to load more than 4 Fx on your mpc tracks. You put that plugin on your track and it gives you more slots for more plugins. I did a video on it a while back. Your waves plugins will now show through that plugin everytime you open it.
