DA40 NG | Pilot Life | Flying Trips | France 2024

We fly G-SUEO, a DA40 NG around France from the UK. This was a one week trip flown as a mix of VFR and IFR visting six different airports and exploring the local area.
Aircraft is a 2013 Diamond DA40 NG fitted with Garmin G1000 displays and GFC 700 auto-pilot. The aircraft is operated by Sue Air who have a fleet of four superbly maintained Diamond aircraft (DA40 and DA42) based at Gloucester and North Weald.

You can do customs at Troyes. Very easy

Yes, unfortunately due to a problem with the fuel bowser at North Weald we didn’t have enough fuel to do that going into France. We used Troyes for customs last year, they are very good, it’s a fantastic airfield 😁 LFAT is good if you need flexibility on timing.
