What a phantastic Video. Some of the locmotives I know from my childhood in reality. Like the Swiss "TEE" train which travelled from Zurich to Den Haag in the netherlands. Or the famous "Rheingold" train (time Index 1:30) I saw it rolling along the river rhine when I was a little boy (unfortunately only with an electric instead of a steam locomotive) BTW, the model cars you've shown are made by the german WIKING company which is now part of SIKU 😁) I'm very impressed, Mate. In present time Marklin products are the most reliable quality models. Hopefully not made in China.

The stereotypical belief that anything made in China is of inferior quality is not 100 percent true anymore. There is a German model train manufacturer called Kiss Modellbahn. The founder of the company is Gunter Kiss. They specialize in large scale replicas of steam and electric locomotives, including Swiss electric prototypes like the SBB Cargo. Their models are meticulously hand-made out of brass and they are hand-painted as well. And they are made in China.

No worries Märklin is not made in China, the expensive models are from Germany, and somewhat cheaper are made in Hungary, so all made in the EU...

Hello!! I think your videos are excellent and with the aim of showing us collectors, some incredible stores !!! .. I always see in your videos a preference of yours for the cheaper brands, which even Wallmart sells ... There are stores you can do 3 more detailed videos and you only make 1 so you focus on the cheapest, leaving behind a lot of information ... For those of us who collect more detailed and expensive pieces, we are left with the desire to know prices and see models. ..Find out if you can go more slowly through the store and comment on prices to make the videos more interesting, at least for me .. Thank you very much and I always put you lik..Greetings !!

I understand but there are also people who like the cheaper diecast. It is very popular and some of my videos with cheaper diecast are doing better than the ones with quality. I try to show the prices as much as possible but sometimes a store is so big that it would take a few days to complete a video when I slow down. I'm not a pro or a diecast expert but I do my best to show you guys what we got here in Europe. It's up to you to pick out the rare ones or the quality diecast and contact the store for more details. And if you find something in my video that you are looking for let me know. Because that is one of the reasons I'm making my videos 🙂

Cool - I have to stay away from shops like this as it just encourages me to spend huge $$$. I carry my entire collection database on the phone to check what I have. At least this shop tries to show they are making some offers; the Muller Obletter store I visit in Munich, nearly everything is at full list price so if I see something, take a pic and buy it online. Does anyone know what the 2x wagons are at 3:45-3:50 - it looks like generators. And what brand section was it in? Thanks

I will be visiting for a little over a week, and would love to pick up a engine from Germany while I'm there to add to my model train collection! In HO Scale. Germany is a perfect country for model trains. Best you can do is go to Google type the name of the city in combination with model trains. I do the same thing 😏 Good luck and please let me know if you find something good🙏🏻

Anyway, if you ever do, this is very important, you have to lay down your own tracks, doesn't matter if it is a small 0 at first, and make your train run over those tracks, if you can spend some hours there like nothing and you feel there's something there, maybe it's for you, if you don't, maybe it is not. Have in consideration, if it is for you, may be the first but never the last 😂.
