@@rogersmith8480 Sorry. Do we understand you correctly, that you want a DVD instead of becoming someone who could fill as many DVDs as you want yourself?

@@Pahuyuth First, I want to Thank you for your fast replies. Thank you. With Deep Respect, I understand what you are telling me. With Deep Respect I don't have the internet all the time. I would like to train where I don't have any distractions. I live in a very rural place too. I have plenty of space with plenty of quietness. I would really appreciate if you could please turn them into DVDs so I could buy. Sincerely, Thank you

@@rogersmith8480 Thank you for your reply. That makes it much clearer! Please note, that due to the pandemic the whole world currently lives more or less in seclusion, which is why we have designed our online educational program in a very specific way. In your case, we would recommend, that you follow the link below and start practicing those 30 exercises. You may take a screenshot for private use (a printable PDF would be part of our membership program) and use it when you train offline. One way or another, those exercises are one of the prerequisites to acquire the skills you have asked for. No internet and no DVD needed. Hope this helps! bit.ly/Pahuyuth30exercises

Some facts about Pahuyuth A spin-off of Tholee, which originated from a student sports group at Berlin and therefore has nothing to do with old fighting styles, but pretends to make themselves important. The chairman of Pahuyuth (Kru Lamp) has no qualification as a teacher (Krob Kru). He has also never fought in a boxing ring. His sword knowledge is based solely on student sports and stage fencing (Krabi Krabong), which is taught at the university. The rest comes from Tholee, which can also not be called an old or a real Thai martial art. The Muay from the city of Tholee mainly refers to a certain Ajarn Tholee. He was the son of a governor who was active in BS promotion and brought THolee fighters (Muay Thai) from Berlin to BSland to promote them there. Ajarn Tholee never learned Muay Thai himself. The only reason why he is called "Ajarn" is that he has written and published some (fictional) stories about Muay Thai fighters. Ajarn Tholee came from a high-ranking family and therefore never fought in a boxing ring. That would have been inappropriate for his standing. His actual profession was civil servant in the building industry. Later Tholee generations mixed normal Muay Thai techniques with Silat (Indonesia), Wushu (China) and Jiu Jitsu (Japan). For these reasons Pahuyuth, and everything that comes from this direction, can neither be called an old nor a real Thai martial art. Legit question: What is the principle behind twirling the blade? What does it teach in the drill?
@Pahuyuth6 жыл бұрын
Typical for this kind of sword fighting is using the center-near pivot that enables a high rotation speed and complex movement patterns and the use of the grip for blunt strikes. Handling and positioning are therefore key and should be trained extensively. This recording shows a practitioner with two swords, who twirls the blades separately from each other and without a predefined choreography. The goal of this exercise is to explore and develop new technical variations from basic handling techniques. It is also one of the foundations for traditional sword dancing (other videos on this channel) and it can help to combine elements from several Pahuyuth disciplines into ones personal Pahuyuth fighting style.
