You don't have to cut the wire and splice the other ignitor in. There's a little metal tab on one side of the igniter that you can poke something in and press down and the whole button will pop right out of the igniter assembly. Frickin game changer 😎

First torch I got was trash only worked for about a month. Went and got a new one, this one has been good now for a couple months. First one was probably just a bad pick out of the litter. 7/10

Dang to bad but hey go to bed bath & beyond and they have the same torch I have. Get that, it's the exact same thing as a nitro vector except it doesn't say vector on the side. They're also only like $40 I believe. Hope that helps alittle. Cheers!

I have a Newport one this happened to it first then something with the Nozzle adjustment is messed up one day it just wouldn’t work it’s not spraying out any butane 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the vid. My spark doesn't seem to be able to light the torch. I tried moving the wire but it's like it shorts out on rim of the torch instead of arcing into the way of the gas. It will light if I use a lighter. Any help would be appreciated please.

You really need to get it in the right spot. The wire can be too long or too short your gas can be too high or too low also. With the piezoelectric ignition the spark needs to be basically hitting the jet where the gas comes out.

You can clean the wire with a file and make it shiny copper again and that usually helps as well
