What do you think of this Algerian Train? I mean literally everyone told us that this was one of the best trains you could get from Algiers to Oran..we were super lucky with the seats we paid for and the amount of space we got, however the near 2 hour delay and the fact the journey took even longer than expected kind of took away the novelty of the train journey...

Hi Matt and Molly. Sorry to see you had a hard time with your train journey from Algiers to Oran. Trains there can be a hit and miss. Some lines are better than others. It is not acceptable, they need to up theirs standards on that one. You are right, a flight would have been better. Or, actually a taxi would have got you there a lot quicker, Algeria invested in a very expensive East - West super highway and the views are really nice I heard. Can’t wait for your Oran video. 👍❤🙂

these trains are low price and aren't really luxurious, they are affordable to everyone ,if you want to take advantage of experiencing Algeria fully then rent a car and follow your gps, stop here and there, taking a train from one place to another is not good if you want rest and luxury, we do not have that here

I totally agree....and you're lucky that you didn't take the train that goes from annaba to algiers 16h trip don't mention the delays and the chaos before and during and after 😂😂... But hey every new experience is a good experience just don't do it again ... Actually when i first watched your first video in algiers.. i really decided that same night to make something similar i came to algeries >> annaba >> back to algiers and then >> oran all by the train .. very exhausting especially with little 3 kids 😂 but it was fun ... thx for the visit and for sharing your experience with us ... Pls do Hong kong / macau for your next trip if you didn't do it already ... With love from Batna in the east of algeria ❤

I've been to Oran this summer and came back to Algiers by train but from another train station (Relizane) on the way and it was my worst experience in Algeria, delay, we lost the all day and we were very happy at the end to arrive at El Aurassi for the night! Was definitely not the same train as yours! Anyway Oran was so nice to discover!

Honestly same train trips in other countries would cost more ewpensive than that witg my experinece and even with the worst trains. I tried the train before in Algeria and it is very comfy comparing to other countries. And when they say business class ir is comparing to the same train level it is not literally a business class. my friend stop defending our country , the train was normal and other countries are ten times better , they respect time and get you where you want so fast with bullet trains. oh also there is only first class and second class as far as i know

Dream on! Example of trains in Morocco: almost the same distance 350km (Tanger- Casa) takes 2:10 hours. Speedy and comfy train. every hour and on-time. Cost from 9 USD!
